July 2008--Anthology Release

"Unreadable" is my story within this anthology, and it's the 2nd story set in my "Vanguard Universe" setting. The sole returning character is Oscar Kharm, an enigmatic Englishman with many secrets and not a little magic of his own. This story explores what happens when someone gets their hands on a book best left alone... It's my hope that the Library of Unreadable Books will play a prominent role in more stories to come in this setting.

August 2008--Gen Con Appearance

I'll be attending Gen Con in Indianapolis, Indiana again this year from Wednesday evening August 13 through Sunday August 17. Please come track me down and say hello; thrust things at me to sign with a variety of writing tools, if you must; let us share a beer if we may. I've been attending Gen Con off and on since 1990 and I'm always grateful for a chance to share my love of books, games, fantasy, and other fictions with as many like-minded folks as I can.

I'll post a schedule of where I'll be when ASAP. Know that you can catch me at the Writers' Symposium throughout most of the convention.
